What is PeekScore?: PeekScore is a rank from 1 to 10, assigned to every person. The higher someone’s score, the “more important” they are on the web. In calculating your PeekScore and updating it often, PeekYou takes into account your known presence and activity on the Internet, including but not limited to; your blogging, participation in social networks, the number of your friends, followers, or readers, the amount of web content you create, and your prominence in the news. For first time visitors a more in-depth explanation of what the PeekScore is, and how to increase your own, can be found by clicking through here.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller

In all of modern fiction there are very few, indeed possibly no characters more frequently dramatized than Arthur Conan Doyle’s brilliant consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes. At this very moment in time, in fact, there are a handful of well-regarded, popular, ongoing, and high profile properties featuring the character, and the public’s interest in his continuing adventures (or endless revivals and reinterpretations of his old ones) — over 120 years since Conan Doyle first introduced the character — seemingly hasn’t waned a bit.

The BBC’s extremely popular contemporary production, simply entitled Sherlock, launches its third series on New Year’s Day. An “interactive trailer” has hit the web this week, to much buzz, and you can check it out here.

In honor of the Holmesian hubbub surrounding this trailer, we’ve concocted the list below. This is by no means a comprehensive survey of every actor to ever play the part, but is instead a list which compares the online existences — in terms of size, impact, influence, and prominence, etc. — of today’s most high profile Sherlocks, with those actors most historically and frequently associated with the part.
